While prepping dinner I threw a couple of abt's on. It's been a long time since I've done these. I forgot how good they are.


Enjoyed some holiday treats also...

Roasted pablanos and stuffed with chorizo, black beans and pepper jack cheese. ..wrapped in bacon. Pretty good but needed more cheese. Next time I'll make a cheese topping.

Good lord I'm jealous, been sleeting/rain here for the last two days and after working a few long shifts haven't been motivated to cook. Motivation restored!I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.

Dang @henapple-here we are at Christmas and you are regressing to the scotch. I thought you could find a bourbon that would put scotch in the rear-view mirror. Great cook BTW-and I'm with you on always pre-cooking chorizo when using as a filler. Merry Christmas-

What temp did you do the poblanos at? Also direct or indirect? I will be trying those next week.Suwanee, GA

Direct around 350-400....I always go direct when something is wrapped in bacon. I'd go with whole black beans and definitely make a cheese topping when finished.Green egg, dead animal and alcohol. The "Boro".. TN
