A good neighbor and friend of ours brought home his egg today. He's a foodie and was using a weber kettle up till today. Him and his wife are good people and have a little boy with a baby brother due any day; in fact he's holding off on his maiden cook until their son is born. He found the egg on eBay, large, 2 years old in really good condition. He's always asking me what I'm cooking; and has sampled bunch of different things I've made over the past 2-1/2 years.
I will get him schooled on lump, ARs, smokeware caps, and most importantly, joining the forum. He's a fan of bourbon, and has given me plenty of cigars as he gets them from clients.
I feel good knowing that I directly contributed to someone else taking the plunge and joining the cult... I hope he doesn't blame me as his wallet starts to empty though

Cool deal my friend. Tell him to keep that ole Weber though. Can't have to many smokers in my opinion. My ole Weber has and still serves me well.

Thanks guys.... Just helped him get the egg up to his deck; he's got an end unit home like mine so the set up will be similar. He's going to do baby backs tomorrow for the maiden voyage... Plenty of questions and excitement. Don't think he has to worry about his wife too much; she likes good food and has really enjoyed what I've shared with them so far...
I guess with another large this close; every weekend potentially could be a little eggfest

My friends are too cheap or too lazy to own an egg. I have a friend that invited my wife and I over for dinner this summer. They asked if I could bring an BGE cooked Boston pork butt. They supplied the bread and beans!XL BGE; Medium BGE; L BGE

Two of my doctors I have delt with lately have asked about the egg, but say their wives won't let them spend the money. I'm thinking now wait a minute, you guys should be able to afford it and they have gas grills cerrently. I have told them a good start would be the Mini Max. One them I think is seriously thinking about getting one. My neighbors has a large, a Weber Q and a Weber Performer. My other neighbor uses my WSM once and a while. I just don't need it with XL. It's nice you can have another friend join you in the Eggdiction. @hapster, has he joined the forum yet?XL, WSM, Coleman Road Trip Gas GrillKansas City, Mo.
