@Hunter1881‌ the above pictures are the final results. This was just a freind get together so just served the hog right off the cooker. I must say damn thing turned out better then i thought it would.

total cook time was 14 hours at 250 to 300. The monster held whatever temp i set but hadto ramp it up a bit to finish on time.

    Total lump used 15lbs.

This guy on the forum had a really great BBQ and all I got was the privilege of seeing the pics. :D
Looks awesome. Hope y'all had a great time. My daughter got me a set of Wolf Claws for my birthday, I love those things. Bear claws, wolf claws, meat grabbers, etc. etc. are great for handling and shredding meat.

@stemc33 if you are close enough next time show up. The more the merrier I say. Little bit of drizzle rain but we had the covers out so alldid have a good time. II'm feeling a bit tired today as I had to get up at 4 this morning for work. Lucky it's only a 4 hour day today.

I have to agree about the bear claws. Not those are something that I truly think everyone who pulls there meat alot should have.

Still waiting on this one my friend. This is my kind of cook. If time ever allows, we should get together and run the Meat Monster up side of Unit 7 and see how they each perform. The Meat Monster is a top notch unit from what I have read. Would love to see it in action.

@sgh let's see if we can't get that to happen sometime brother. Hope to not be working so much next year so I say yeah we need to do this.

That would be awesome. If I'm off of work this weekend, I will be doing final tuning and installing the baffle plate on Unit 7. After that it will be blasted and painted and ready to roll. You are welcome here any time brother bad.
