    Ok, you guys have convinced me to try the Rockwood now.  I know Royal Oak (RO) makes the charcoal that BGE puts their name on.  With that said I bought four 20 lb bags of BGE charcoal when I bought my XL so it will be a while before I burn through all those.  

    I store my charcoal in my garage and noted that it always smells smokey in there now.  Not overpowering but I had to wonder if it's supposed to smell like that.  Then I started reading about all these people here in the EggHead Forum complaining about RO.  Well based on my own VERY LIMITED experience, I do think there's something to those complaints.

    I am hoping to find a company that will let me buy 100 lbs or so of the Rockwood and ship it to me.  You've got me anxious to try it now.

    i have been using the rockwood the last couple of weeks and so far i am very pleased with it!

    www.firecraft.com is an excellent source to pick up from if you can't find it locally.

    I'm in the "don't really care about the lump too much camp".   I think I have 4 bags of B&B oak right now.  And I've been burning Stubbs which is made by Cowboy.
