Good food, great service, just as reasonable as other chain fast food resturants, and the main reason is that it is a family owned Christian business that is good to its employees.
-
Well, it's fast food to start with. Second the proceeds, through the family that owns them, give money to hate groups and anti-LGBT groups that promote discrimination and lobby to pass laws on what folks can or can't do in the bedroom. So if all that is what you're about, then it's another way for you to support that activity.

CFA is a great company. The Cathy family are dear friends and I am proud to call them neighbors. They have personally supported breast cancer walks and have given innumerable blessings to many many people.
I used to live in Gulfport, MS and New Orleans after college; moved back to Atlanta for work. After Katrina came thru and leveled my old apartment with a barge in Gulfport and forced many of my closest friends to leave their homes, the Cathy's helped me get hotels for them, gave them all the free food they could ever eat, and gas and money for travel expenses back home months later.
That's never going to be in the news!
They are good people.LBGE since 2014

I have never eaten there. Don't even know where one IS! Ok, so I just looked on their website and the nearest one is 25 miles away and isn't even in my state!! And the only one that IS in CT is 70 miles away... in a town I've never even heard of!Then again, I haven't had fast food in 6 months. And I already HAVE an egg.
)
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

I came back there to help a security detail empty the vaults at a few properties... I found a teak deck chair with a brass tag on it from the resort area across the street about 1.5 miles inland traipsing thru the woods locating a boat that washed ashore. It was a 50+ footer that was dropped perfectly between a bunch of pines with its keel about 3 feet from the ground. Amazing! Like it was picked up and placed there!

Brother that was without question a terrible storm to say the least. I was here for Camile as well. Camile was no doubt stronger but Katrina was just so huge. Hope to never see another like those two again.

Those memorials are amazing. I had forgotten the toll in lives that Katrina had until I saw my friends name on that wall. They had ridden out Camille in the same house that collapsed and killed them all in Katrina. I cried like a baby when I saw her name on that wall. I'll admit it.....

I'm not a huge fan of any fast food places really, but I know the local franchises have supplied free food at many local fundraisers we've had for various projects even including a huge Katrina relief effort back in '05, charitable golf tournaments, events for our kids' schools and many more.
Not sure where "hate groups," comes from. Those folks struck me as anything but.....

Hey, your definition of a hate group may vary with mileage. I just call 'em as I see 'em.
I'm working on adult beverages right now and giving away a bunch of tuna I don't have room for, but I'll be baaaaccckkk.

I have been to their HQ here in ATL, and ate lunch there, FOR FREE, which is a benefit for all the employees that work there (and this cafeteria is frickin huge and more food choices than a grocery store). Anybody that feeds me FOR FREE has my vote, and can like or dislike whoever the hell they want to!The Dude: This is a very complicated case, Maude. You know, a lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what-have-you's. And, uh, lotta strands to keep in my head, man. Lotta strands in old Duder's head. Luckily I'm adhering to a pretty strict, uh, drug regimen to keep my mind, you know, limber.Walter Sobchak: Nihilists! *uck me. I mean, say what you want about the tenets of National Socialism, Dude, at least it's an ethos.

So do I.....and I don't see it. And just because someone supports a cause you may not like or agree with doesn't make them supporters of a hate group, although it seems that's where we've come because that's what we're told ad nauseam. All in all, I say they are good folks, which I'm sure you're mileage will vary also.
Just don't eat there......that'll show 'em.

I have zero tolerance for bigots. And I seem to remember the country was founded by people who wanted to get away from religious persecution. I completely agree they have the freedom to give the money to groups of their choosing. Not trying attack them. But it's not like they're protecting themselves as much as projecting a religious based ideology that treads on other people's snakes.
This path has been successfully implemented through history and especially in the motherland of humanity and religion (if you know where that area is). Wrack your brain and look at which countries are dominated by faith. (hint - you need no hint).
I'm just saying what I said originally. If that's your bag, then support them, because that's where some of that money is going. I have plenty of friends that are religious and that are atheist and that are LBGT. Freedom is being able to be who you are, without hurting anyone else, and having equal rights, in the law, and I think that's fair. They sound like good people except they're trying to impose restrictions on people who aren't in the model based on their faith.

Take that money, that they're using in lobbying, and give it to the poor. That's true Christianity.

How terrible that they strive to uphold the beliefs and morals that this country was founded upon. And how convenient that just because I don't approve of something/someone, I automatically get classified as a 'Hater'. The party of 'tolerance' is only tolerant if you agree with them. Hypocritical at a minimum.Hibby said:
I think you struggle with what some of the beliefs and morals country was founded on are. Also, there is a HUGE difference with not approving of something and discriminating. I don't approve of fat people reproducing but I'm not supporting laws that don't allow them to reproduce or bar them from services and goods.Boom -

And I eat there and I worked there as a kid. Was my first job. A lot about company I like and support. And there is a huge difference in not approving of a LGBT relationship or lifestyle and trying to ban or bar them from service and marriage and the rights and freedoms that go with it. Part of freedom is allowing people to do things you wouldn't or don't agree with that aren't causing harm. And two people in love is one of last things we should restrict. My $0.02Boom -
