Oh man, don't get me started on that score. I got into a pretty heated argument once with a graduate student here who actually thought there was some validity to the moon-landing "hoax". @FlyingTivo @nolaegghead I still stand by that the first three seasons of LOST is the best TV of all time. From a cinematic aspect, script/acting, etc, totally groundbreaking. Breaking Bad is the all around best series of all time, but there was something magic about the first three seasons of LOST.

I agree with eggcelsior; as a series nothing tops The Wire, although I think that is because HBO pushed David Chase to make too many episodes of The Sopranos; when that was good, it was the best, but there is too much filler.
