Tad Unhealty Burger but ..................
Damn it was good, everything in moderation I always say.
Grilling up some burgers on this wonderfully Sunday evening for supper. It was a balmy -8 on the way home from the store after purchasing ground chuck and bacon.
Chopped up about 3/4 pound of bacon and mixed it into 2 pounds of ground chuck. Made a few burgers normally with some spicy cowlick for seasoning put on the small around 425 degrees.

Topped with cheese and in the house for the kids while I got the #3 griswold heated up with some butta.

MMMMMM Butter
Cooked until crisp, then flipped and repeat.
Plated with some baked fries and Yuengling!
Damn good and felt my arteries clogging a tad but will even out tomorrow with some chicken. Only thing different next time will to precook the bacon as it didn't really cook at all and the wife was a little grossed out by the "rawness" of the bacon.

My buddy stopped over Saturday night and brought some pre made bacon cheese burgers from the meat market. Nothing like a big juicy burger in winter! Yours look much better with the butter!"The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Let's see Michael Phelps do that" - Jim Gaffigan

Hmmmm. I'm perplexed. Everything is better with butter. Everything is better with bacon. That means this burger is better squared or better better! Looks delicious.I cook. I eat. I repeat. Thornville, Ohio

I don't see a single thing wrong with that. Maybe a few strips of bacon on top.

-
Terrebandit thanks, cooked in the butter the entire time.Put a couple tbsp of butter in the ci at the start, rest of the juices were probably bacon grease sense it was raw and rendering out as the burger cooked.

Wonder what could be made with the butter/bacon grease left over? Could be a hell of a start for a roux.LBGE, Weber Grills, Silverback Pellet grill, PBC. No I don't have a grill issue.
