Having a Christmas party for some co-workers (12 ppl) and need some ideas on what to cook. I don't want to smoke a turkey since we are having it the week after Thanksgiving.

Beef filet. ;;)Every day is a bonus day and every meal is a banquet in Winter Springs, Fl !

Pork butt or Brisket for the main course, then chicken wings, pig shots, pig candy, ABT's, or smoked salmon of some sort for the appetizers. I'm not nearly as talented as many on this forum, there will probably be some more creative suggestions to follow.I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.

low and slow pork butt is imposible to mess up....or even turbo method for that matter. it will make you a heroBeaufort, SC

Ham, or if you really love them/angling for a raise, rib roast.

Depending on how much you like them... I'd go with the prime rib roast. Easy and a great meal. Do a bunch of double stuffed potatoes for sides with some grilled asparagus. Also; do some mushrooms sautéed in butter, garlic, and red wine to top the beef.MSV Chill Spot

We are having one for SWMBO's co-teachers, about 16 people, not doing a sit-down, I was planning on pulled pork with slider rolls and some pig shots. Hoping to see any better ideas hereXLBGE, Small BGE, Homebrew and GuitarsRochester, NY

Thanks Everyone!! Great suggestions

How much do you like your co-workers? I'd say prime rib, but I'd never pay for that for the people I work with. They might get smoked bologna...

You could also go Italian with the butt and serve porchetta. This recipe is absolutely fantastic. Serve with rolls, provolone and spicy sautéed rabe or spinach. (The recipe is written for the oven but could be done in the egg, too.)*******Owner of a large and a beloved mini in Philadelphia
