New Egg set-up for 2013
Our new battle wagon is ready to roll into the 2013 Competition season.
The boys here at the shop have been busting tail to get the trailer prepped for Brentwood this weekend...our first compition this year.

Very nice. Was trying to see how you locked down the Eggs?Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd.

That is a super sweet set up right there!! Assuming you roll the eggs out to cook? Are those lights or vents on the side of the trailer?

Looks like you are securing the Eggs with zip tie's from the nest to anchors in the floor. Is that correct?No concern about them being top heavy?XL,L,SWinston-Salem, NC

Here's a pic of the Egg Docking inside. We pull Eggs outside to cook, kitchen is quite "roomy" when Eggs are removed.

Do you stay in CA, or does your team travel regionally or nationally?Flint, Michigan

We compete in the California BBQ Association's points race each year with 135 other teams. We used to travel to 18-20 a year, now we only do 8-10. To compete heavy for the state crown you need to do about 15 a year at least. Hard to get away that much anymore it seems. It is fun, and I have a good team and that makes it easier on everyone. We'd like to make it back to the American Royal and Jack Daniels World Championships again, we did both in 2010.
