I bought all the ingredients today to do up some stir fry tonight. I take a look at the news and see the radar and a storm is coming, well that is not stopping me from what I wanted to eat for dinner. I rigged up my tarp (Redneck Sunbrella) over my pergola and went to work.
- Chicken
- Chinese Eggplant
- Bok Choy
- Shitake Mushroom
- Ginger
- Snap Peas
- Diced Shallots
I made a sauce of Rice Vinegar, Soy Sauce, Honey, Chilli Paste, Corn Startch and poured that over when the veggies were almost done.
Everything was great even if it was pouring down rain outside.

Sunbrella looks good and the food, nice Awsome cook.

Although not a fan of egg wokking (I prefer a burner), you nailed this one. Right amount in the wok, nice colour and looks like great technique.Basis for so many cooks - sweet onion (white and red) if no shallots, some garlic, some water chestnuts and bamboo shoots - the combinations are endless. Great cook!Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad!

Looks delicious. Your thread title sounds like a Police song... B-)_____________

I do like The Police, not when I get pulled over though.
This was a fun cool even In the rain. I love it when it's a little cool outside and I fire up the egg with the Wok.
Come Summer though I avoid the Wok because the sweat dropping into it is pretty nasty, but does add flavor."Hold my beer and watch this S##T!"
