LOL... Was wondering about the "fancy" bottles as well haven't tried them yet.caliking said:Welcome back, man. Sorry about your lost posts - its nice to have stuff like that on the interwebs to refer back to.
The worse tragedy is that a tool like ayayron or whatever the heck his/her name is can cause trouble like that and apparently get away with it. I hope his mom withholds his pimple cream just for that. Or at least limits his lotion and tissue privileges.Almost forgot - Jameson is good stuff! Probably my favorite "regular use" beverage. Have you tried some of their more fancy-pants bottles that I've noticed in the last couple of years? One was a maroon sort of bottle. Have not tried it yet.MSV Chill Spot

You said something like this to me once and I'm happy to return your sentiments. "Atta boy! Way to rub some dirt on it and get back into the game!"

I did? Don't recall it really... Thanks though. I enjoy this forum and hopefully they find a way to keep that jackass out of here...Fred19Flintstone said:You said something like this to me once and I'm happy to return your sentiments. "Atta boy! Glad you're back. Always enjoy your comments and tips. If they let these dweebs stay on the site, couldn't we band together and boycott the site until they fix the issue?

Hap:
Sorry to hear about you losing all your posts. Glad you decided to stick with it and stay with us! I too was banned, at least once that I know for sure and I think on one other occasion earlier this week. But fortunately my posts weren't deleted. Actually I'm not talking about picture posts I've made when I say fortunately. I mean a lot of my posts were questions I had where I got some great answers from the folks here. I'm so glad I didn't lose those responses to my questions.
I can't believe they don't have archives that they can restore from when a problem like this happens. I must say that 99.9% of the folks who are members and posters here are great. But in my relatively short time here, I'm relatively underwhelmed by the way the board itself is administered and run. Particularly for a board which has so many members and is so active.
So once again glad to have you back!

I'm pretty certain the posts aren't deleted, they likely just have a property set so they don't show up.

I tried to google Hapsters chicken and salsa just now using "Hapsters chicken and salsa egghead forum" as my search and the thread came up. When I clicked on it, this appears....

Even if that isn't viable, they should at least start making certain members community moderators that can respond quickly to violations and flags.I was puttering around on the Vanilla homepage and apparently, the software is supposed to do this. It hides comments after a preset number of flags(say 3, for example) and will remove the comment after another few. I have only ever seen this once, so we see how well that has worked.

We need moderators...love the forum but improvements could be made. @hapster's
Thread of peoples bios would be a great category that all new members could see and post. Maybe a libation, recipe, eggfest category....etc.
