Any ideas for a pre fab snow worthy egging structure for winter cooking?

My ez up tent is just not going to cut it.  I want to get something that is pre fab or close to it (as I am not so good with a hammer and saw) for outdoor egging. I was thinking one of those car port things, but dont know how it would sustain snow.  Do any of you nooks of the north have any suggestions?

    This may be the place for this question, you can start your egg in 0 degree weather and feel ok about it right?  Like I don't want to crack my egg.

    If you were egging at a regular rate, that kind of buildup wouldn't happen, however your deck might get slick around it with the refreeze...

    Other than maybe an umbrella over it until you get the fire going, I think you would be fine just as it is

    I can't wait to do some egging in the snow :)
    That snow was just one storm.  It was not typical, but we do get snow here in MT.  It is not so much the egg, but the accessories that I lose in the winter.  Plus, it is fun to have a roof over your head next to a glowing egg.

    I'm a Weiney...I pull mine close to the mancave and crank my propane heater...hey, at least part of the gasser comes in handy.

    I have not done 0*, but but have been out when its 20* smoking stuff (on the Egg, that is).  I don't see a problem as long as you light the fire and let it build up.  I'd be careful where I'd aim a weed burner if that is how you light your coals.

    I've seen others on here talking about Egging in worse conditions.  In fact that was a big attraction for me.  Year round BBQ.

    O yeah- I've done way colder wen I lived in WI. @lakewade came up to visit and I wanted to show my egg off but it was literally glazed over with ice and frozen shut. We lit a fire in the ash bin to defrost it. We got it open and fired it right up for some late night drunk hot dogs :)

    There was 3 feet of snow on the ground and it was well below 0. I cooked on it all winter. As a matter of fact, that's the whole reason I bought it.

    I use the egg all winter, the only problem I have had is that the lid froze shut on me on a couple of occasions.  I found lighting one of those card board fire starters inside the bottom vent door created enough heat to free the lid.

    That experience caused me to buy an egg.  And I am pretty sure I got drunk and used your snow blower in your back yard later that night and deleted The Fabulous Janell's hedges in the process.  That was a good night.  (Sorry TFJ!)

    Egg all year long. If I know it is going to snow or even blizzard, I even want to egg even more. Lowest temp so far is -5.
