Smoked Beef Sticks

Have been meaning to try this for along time. Used lean grass feed beef, pink salt, kinders the blend and some Tonys.

Didn’t want to try anything wild yet just to get my feet wet. They’re great.

Egg held solid with my cyberQ at 170. Ran it for two hours to stabilize and make sure would hold that low. Added a small piece of hickory and smoked these while I cut the grass.

Will try adding jalapeños, cheese and things. Will also do some no pink salt. Just wanted an easy dumb recipe for the experience.

Smelled awesome at the house all afternoon. Did about 4 hours and got internal temps to 155-160 before taking off and cooling at room temp.
