Fast Food Cravings — What’s Everyone Hungry For Lately?

Lately, I’ve been getting some real fast food cravings — the kind where you want something crispy, salty, and satisfying. Sometimes it’s a classic burger and fries, other times it’s fried fish or spicy chicken sandwiches that hit the spot. I think it’s the cooler weather making those warm, comfort-style meals sound even better. What’s been your go-to fast food craving lately?

Seeing that I am meat deprived until Dec/Jan when I get my final permanent choppers I can't wait for a number of egged meals plus kitchen cooked meals BUT since you asked about fast food...mine would be my luncheon delights of a cheeseburger with just onions and pickles from Wendy's and a deluxe chicken sandwich from Chic-fil-A.

I'd say cheeseburgers. Plenty of local sources, of course, and some are rather good. In Boulder, CO I like Dark Horse and Smashburger and Shake Shack. Otherwise an excellent place is McDevett's Taco Supply, which has never given me a meal that wasn't delicious. But that's not cheeseburgers.

I don’t understand commercial fishing. How does one get to go mine a non renewable resource that is everyone’s (in the ocean) and slap it on a half eaten long john silver sandwich for their own profit. I understand quotas and permits but still.

I no longer eat Cephalopodas, accidentally learned about their intelligence and complex social behaviors.  A very interesting documentary w/phenomenal cinematography is:  “My Octopus Teacher”

It should still be on Netflix.

I quit fast food almost entirely. Not being a snob, but since retiring, MY BEAUTIFUL WIFE bakes unbelievable bread, and I use it to make Sammies from the BGE cooks. 

I have broken down to Wendy’s chili, baked potato and a pup cup of their soft serve.
