My mother in law (born in US) lives close to the border in a small beach town. She can look out over the bay to the states from her balcony. Tonight we brought her waffles (done on the egg) and treated her to dessert of whipped cream, blue berries and maple syrup on the waffles.
Then we drove down to a viewing spot and watched the fireworks across the border. We started hearing them at 8:30, but the big show over the bay was from 10:30 to 11. Really spectacular, but beyond the capabilities of my iPhone to capture.~~
