Kinda Korean dinner party….

Started everything too late and needed the leaf blower to speed up my charcoal light… please don’t ban me…Shrimp marinade included garlic, ginger, Korean pepper sauce, sesame oil, and honey. Pork had the same but brown sugar not honey. Had the SV warming up to poach eggs to serve with the meal.

I like it, @BeanHead. I’ve also been known to use the leaf blower from time to time. Works great, but can be sparky sometimes.

Everyone was full and happy at the end of the meal and I thankfully didn’t burn down the garage with my egg oxygen infusion. My life would be easier if everyone ate mushrooms, but alas I need multiple pans working at once to get everything done. Dessert was a semi sweet sparkling wine and jumbo caramel stroopwafels, so kinda Korean was no misnomer.

Great looking meal. I use a hair dryer to stoke the lump from above once the torch has generated the glows, blow from the lower vent if I need to speed up.

I tried using my leaf blower to clean out the ashes below/under the bowl.  It worked, well, but highly NOT recommended <cough>!

I will give the hairdryer a shot the next time I am in a hurry @Canugghead . I usually have better timing… @Botch I had a similar effect from my ash shopvac last clean out. Didn’t realize DH removed the filter to clean it and I needed to shut down and go inside for the ash cloud to settle. Thanks all for the compliments and tips!
