This jalapeño corer from my friend The Hungry Hussey (before he obtained celebrity status). It makes ABTs a breeze.

What’s your fav?

Not a gadget, but nothing brings me more pleasure in the kitchen than my knife.

Hard to decide. Either my knife sharpener or my stick blender.

@tarheelmatt was always a celebrity
He just has a (much) bigger audience now. And, well earned/deserved. #1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -

I’m not sure it’s my favorite, but it’s my newest and I’m excited to try it, is my potato ricer. I held off for the longest time in getting one and enjoying some small lumps in my mashed potatoes for a little texture.XL BGE

I have had this Ooni digi for a few years and am very happy with it.

I use wax paper all of the time to keep spatulas off the countertops, to peel carrots and potatoes onto for easy cleanup, weighing food on a scale. It makes cleanup a lot easier with less to wash.

My favorite New Gadget a Conical Burr Grinder for Spices , if you grind your own spices , and you should and have been using a blade chopper " coffee grinder, this is a Game Changer......Pro Tip, salt your meat WAY before cooking , I salt typically a day ahead at least for larger cuts , 1-1.25% by the weight of the protein

one of these hanging on the wall last month. no more looking in the avalanche cabinet under the counter. after cutting the saran wrap, pull a little more out to keep it from falling back into the slot and sticking to the roll. i dint buy the paper roller hanger to save some wall space

mentioned in a different thread, cheap rotary geedel cheese grater. was 20 bucks a few months back. thing punches out cheese, suction base. not the best for mozz but probably would work better if partially frozen. easy to rinse clean and no reason to pull out the big bulky food processor. definitely has its place. not perfect but does the job

Vintage commercial scale and the chamber sealer next to it, hands down our most useful/used gadgets.

Some quality kitchen shears. I never knew what I was missing until using a new set.

I don't use it all that often, but when I do I can't help but grin.
Pro Tip: many internetz cooks and even the presenters from ATK/Cooks Country do this to mash garlic: chop at it for a bit, sprinkle on some salt, then use the side/cutting edge of the blade to "smear" the garlic even finer against their cutting board.
DON'T DO THIS! Table salt is a damn rock! And it is approximately the same size as 50-grit sandpaper.
Would you use your fahncy grilling salt block as a cutting board? NO!
Would you scrape the cutting edge of your $200 Shun against a sheet of 50-grit sandpaper? NO!
So don't mash your damn garlic like this; buy a stupid mortar/pestle, or just use a garlic press. [/soapbox]A little party never killed nobody.

@caliking we love our flat miniature cousin of that, picked up from Park Circus Maidan night market years ago. Great for unsticking, flipping, picking up small items.
