Kolaches… again!

It’s been a minnit since I threw down some kolaches (4 yrs, apparently).
Tried a tangzhong version, after thinking about cinnamon rolls that @DoubleEgger posted about a year ago (King Arthur recipe, that was fabulous).

Guava paste + lemony cream cheese filling in some, just the lemony cream cheese for the rest. Turned out somewhat bun-like, but I’m not mad.

A happy BGE family in Houston, TX.

Nice kolaches. Huge places in Texas that are stand alone kolache stores. Lotta Czech heritage. I’ve had them from savory to sweet. Doesn’t seem to have a market in Louisiana

Oh, I'd say the cowboys are a gift to every fan of another team. I wish Jerry Jones would buy the Dodgers and work his magic there too.DoubleEgger said:

As a Dodgers fan (Cards 1st, Dbacks 2nd, then Dodgers) I would prefer he go to the Yankees or Cubs.Legume said:

With that hierarchy you do need a third favorite team.Ozzie_Isaac said:

Exactly, you understand why I have a deep bench of teams. Hard to get that dopamine hit when your team wins from the first two.Legume said:
