Overnight Butts

Cooking some butts for company tomorrow night. Thought it would be fun to do it old school, wake up to some BBQ rolling. Haven’t used my cyberQ in nearly 10 years. So overnight butts have to be better than overnight oats right!?! 🤣🤣

I’m curious too. I always run my wires through the top vent, can’t keep the temp low enough when I run them under the lid. To answer your question, heck yeah overnight butts are better than oats, ha!

Well… didn’t find out until I was seasoning that these are franken-butts. They were deboned. So they look funny this morning. Guess I could have tied them. But they smell good. Didn’t get a bark, guess I forgot to add wood chunks since it was late. Smelling good.

@GrateEggspectations may be hard to tell. But I’m cooking on a second story wooden deck. Don’t normally use a drip pan. Just pure chaos over here
going to pull it soon. Just got the yard cleaned up and companies coming over. -
