What is the average lifespan of a country?  It seems we are on the downward slope and I don’t see a way out.

Honestly, it may not matter with the Middle East situation.  I think we are all on borrowed time.

Good thing we live in a country where everyone is above average!

Picking Biden to be your horse 4 years ago was lazy. Honestly, I don't know how we are going to get out of this tailspin. I suppose in 4 more years both these guys will be pushing daisies or close to it, hopefully by then the American people have had enough crazy and we can recenter.  But honestly, I don't have much hope, when I was a young lad and first learned of politics I thought to myself, why the **** is there basically only 2 parties, I don't fall into one camp or the other so how are they supposed to come together to make a decision when there is one winner and one loser.
We are the losers @ the end of the day, follow the money trail, that is all it is about anymore....Special Interests, and America is no longer a special Interest..........Who is the best candidate is both subjective and objective .....The two glaring differences is One is controlled by the party and One is not

As always, I will always respect the person in charge no matter!
Whomever is President takes the bulk of the blame for whatever, alway has and always will.  They also set or should set the tone and direction their term, for everyone, not one party.
Special interest thrives and compromise dies in Congress.  Need to take this lens when voting locally, in our states.

What if Congress kept passing and sending common sense legislation to the president?  They're not.
    Love you bro!

Dod some googlz wizarding and looks like a civilization/empire average range is 250-340 years.

I guess it takes roughly 10 generations for  a few families to amass enough control/power/money that the proletariat tear it down and start over.

You were spot on.  250 for some modern civilization and 350 for civilizations before 600AD.
