Bit the bullet and finally ordered a Blackstone, due in Sunday.
Anything to be aware of or plan for?
Also are there any sites or suggestions for unique recipes?
Also are there any sites or suggestions for unique recipes?
I ordered it bc we are hosting Thanksgiving breakfast and dinner and I figured 28” cooking surface would be helpful for breakfast items but figured it would be handy for so many other cooks.
Thanks in advance!

A Blackstone griddle is an ace in the hole when you have a house full of guests. Some time ago, we had 3 families visiting for a few days, and the griddle was used twice a day, almost every day.
And, yeah, Matt is a gem. Lots of great info on his YT channel.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -

Get a surface thermometer, very helpful. The surface temp may vary in different areas too. Season it good and I clean mine before and after each use.

My only advice might sound like a negative comment, but just keep in mind where you are putting it. I had mine backed up against a brick wall until I discovered what the grease spatters had done.
