Don’t know if these have been done before. I present for your egging pleasure…

Poppers Roses!

Jalapenos stuffed with a cream cheese, cheddar, rub mix. Dollop of pizza sauce in each, because I needed to finish it. Slices of pepperoni rolled into the tops of the japs.

The japs softened without blistering/charting, and the pepperoni crisped up nicely. The bacon wrapped ABT’s are too salty (IMO) if using store bacon, and the pepperoni added more flavor here. I’m claiming this, if nobody else has !

Then… @lkapigian swung into Houston not long ago, and brought some homemade sausage. Fired up the linguica today. Sweet baby Jesus. So fvcking’ good. Perfectly seasoned, and just goddaamn delicious. Threw on some octopus (Costco) for shits and grins.

Nommed on the sausage for a bit, then made a Big Weird Salad. Kewpie roasted sesame dressing (also Costco).

Lit up the KBQ for the evening. Chix quarters dusted with Oakridge competition chicken and game rub (or something like that, of before-that-guy -went -off -the -deep -end vintage

Braised cabbage done in the big kitchen clock. Dirty rice courtesy of one of the three tubs of Savoie’s dressing we got with an Instacart order  by mistake.

Not sure how I managed to spend half the day cooking, and having a good time, but I’m not asking questions.
