@Boatman1 - as above, a great boat right there.  No doubt just rolling into the season.  On a side question- what is your secondary ship...? =)
Since I'm here please provide your general geographic location in your signature when you can.

@Dr_GreenThumb my buddy at the lake just traded his 2017 Malibu for a 2023. It's amazing the tech on those Malibus. I joked with him and said "you've got more money in speakers and amps than I have in my entire boat". He looked at me sideways meaning "yeah I might". Awesome boat...for 4 months out of the year. Sorry... that's my running joke w him. I know you enjoy it.

Next door neighbor used to own one of these. He never claimed it was one of the many they used in filming.

Well, epic boat trip, SC Coast 2023 has concluded. 80 gallons of fuel burned; 102 beers and a handle of bourbon disappeared, many fish were tormented but only three died for the benefit of our nourishment, one reel ripped apart by what we think was a a big shark, one very rare sea sick incident, one bike accident, one rescued boater (we were the rescuers), one celebrity siting, countless oysters and shrimp consumed, the brother in law and I didn't kill each other, and we didn't get arrested. I call that a success.

Back to work, being a responsible husband, a soccer dad, a college dad, BGE cooking, and lake boating. All in all I guess I can't complain.

Don't own a boat, don't want one - hate fishing. My grandfather was one of the founding members of the Pacific City (Oregon) Dory Fleet as a commercial salmon fisherman. Every summer we would end up down there (I grew up south of Seattle) either working on the boat with the old man or on our Uncle's 400 head dairy farm shoveling cow sh!t (his barn was on one side of the two lane road and pasture on the other - we'd have to muck out the underpass the cows used). He sold his milk to Tillamook Dairy.

The commercial fleet at Pacific city is no more, but if you ever visit, the beach is very nice, and it is a blast to climb the couple hundred foot sand dune and run down it (as a kid at least). There is a Pacific City Dorymen's Association Memorial Wall - on panel #1 is Barefoot Charley - that's the old man's boat name.
