Mad respect to you for following through an APL recipe, I feel overwhelmed just looking at his typical long list of steps and ingredients Have his book that was a rage but used it only few times.

Your ribs look perfect, it's time for me to revisit APL.I made a mistake (easy to do with his methods) where I was supposed to reserve some of the rub. That’s why I pulled out a bottled red Chile rub from albikurky thst was 90% similar to what APL has you make from scratch.He also strangely gets St. Louis style ribs and spare ribs somewhat twisted in his intro. Mine are St Louis style (spares trimmed to rectangular) so adjust the cooking times down a little shorter.Plymouth, MN -
