I bought one, used it once, then it was nasty AF and never got touched again. And the ribs were in no way special or even pretty. The egg just doesn't need a rotisserie of that fashion. Those are usually used in huge commercial ovens where even temps aren't really possible. And you don't get a good self baste with this form of rotisserie.

Just a rotisserie chicken rig that is now tricked out and given a lousy name.
Rib-o-later...almost sounds like something you used to be able to purchase in Times Square/42nd St, NYC before the clean-up!
No need to worry - I have a source that says it is once again a dystopian horrorscape and you should be able to find one, assuming you survive after leaving the theater where you saw Hamilton.

I had a Rib-o-lator that I used probably 3 times and found it a pain to clean and if the trays aren't balanced properly the food could drop out of it. A friend of mine was considering one and I offered to let him try it and if he liked it he could have it for half price. He returned it to me after trying it. I ended up giving it away to someone for the cost to ship it to him.

@R2Egg2Q I almost bought one few years ago when a dealer was liquidating it at half price, glad I didn't. Never thought about food balancing problem, makes sense. Wow, baker's dozen, I'm exhausted just reading through your list of toys

It amazes me, how many people do not realize how the future works.
