Not my dog but I thought others could relate. Through the years, four of our five Newfoundlands found their way into our bed. My better half was less than thrilled.

My wife absolutely refuses to let our pup in our bed, and I get it. By the same token, it is very easy for me to see how they “find their way” into one.

Otto’s crate is in a guest room. Lately he has shown a tendency to go in there on his own and just crash on top of the guest bed. I go in there to move him into his crate for the night and he gives me this look like “you SOB” haha.

For a few years my GF/her son (10) took care of my Corgis at my house when I was TDY. I had strict rules, the "boys" could not get up on the furniture, the bed, nor beg at the table.
I got home after the first trip, GF/son were there, so we ordered pizza and settled into the living room. As soon as I sat in my recliner, both Brutus and Cassius leapt into my lap/recliner, and they got a scolding/push back to the floor, and I got two surprised looks, from the Corgis.
I looked over at son and saw a very guilty/caught look; a quick slap from a rolled-up newspaper, onto THREE noses (woulda been four but GF had quick reflexes) and Order was Restored.

First haircut today for Mille Nelson. Looks like she lost weight. Wife said the bow lasted about 3 minutes.

This is Zoey @ 7 weeks. She’s coming to live with us on Easter. I’ve so missed having a Boston Terrier in the house.

This is a "new" thing for her. She's not begging, she just loves being with us. She looks sullen, but that's only because she doesn't have any teeth. She's the sole pet for a year now, and she's an entirely different cat. She's always been a cool easy going girl (she'll be 16 this fall), but she HATED the other cat we had that passed away last year. Since then she's living her best life that's for sure.
