be smart, my egger friends - take a taxi
I would like to share a personal experience with my egger friends about drinking and driving. This might save you the cost and embarrassment of being arrested for DUI. As you know, people have been known to have unexpected brushes with the authorities from time to time, often on the way home after a "social session" with family or friends.
Well, last night I was out for the evening to a party at a great Mexican restaurant and had more than several margaritas coupled with a bottle of rather nice red wine.
Although quite relaxed, I still had the common sense to know I was slightly over the limit.
I took a taxi home.
On the way home there was a police roadblock, but since it was a taxi they waved it past and I arrived home safely without incident. These roadblocks can be anywhere and I realized how lucky I was to have chosen to take a taxi.
The real surprise to me was I had never driven a taxi before. I don't know where I got it, and now that it's in my garage I don't know what to do with it.
If you want to borrow it, give me a call.

@RRP I was all like "man this guy is the real deal" then I got to the bottom...now I KNOW you are the real deal. I only wish we lived closer so I had access to your sense of humor in person. Hilarious, thanks for posting.

Good stuff. In NC I hit many “license check points” in Ohio they literally have to publicly announce where they will be set up a few days in advance. Pretty funny.South of Columbus, Ohio.

I love that this thread is split 75/25 between those who did not read all the way to the end and those who did…"I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike

Most of my freind’s are in the same park as what I live in and we can walk from trailer to trailer.Even the few richie rich types what drive a golf cart can do it ok because we are a private rv park.Don’t have any police in here so you can drive a golf cart after like seven white claws. And the cops cant do nothing

I think reading the posts of those that didn’t read it all was almost as fun as reading the whole thing. Well done @RRP

oh man, now that is funny and insightful. I grew up around cabs in Wisconsin, family biz. The checker with 3 on the floor was a great vehicle, although never did understand the water filled bumpers on the 70's model.
I was the bartenders best friend around closing time, moving out the drunks. Can't tell you how many tavern Pabst signs I pulled under, only to go in and yank out a drunk.......fond memories.
