I have a bundle of cliff-vesting company stock that becomes mine on 11/1/23.  I had to pay a portion of the "estimated" balance in my divorce, so I am currently negative $12,000 on it.

I figure the stock market will screw around for the next 14 months, going wayyyyyyy up, and then tanking on or about Halloween, 2023.  Or, at least one industrial stock will.  I figure it will be worth about $10 grand on that day, so after taxes, I will be only be out $6000 or so.  

You heard it here, first.
