Interesting, no mention of global supply chain issues that are a carryover from Covid still hamstringing global economies. You don’t even mention global. That’s not Biden and it’s not the guy that steals and sells state secrets.  I’m going to go out on a limb and guess you work in some oil related or dependent industry because your rant is all oil, oil, oil.  You kind of sound like an addict screaming don’t take my oil with fear in your eyes.

i doubt it helps, especially gas and diesel prices to charge up electric cars. =) supply chain issues, russia boycott , ukraine war, certain materials held back by the dod for us military sales only during this war.......that last one has been a major eye opener for me and the reason this fire pit wont be installed at my camp. then funny added costs like the time (about 160 hours) to rework this piece until new materials arrive to replace it sometime this fall.

    before

after, before install and then removal again, new materials, then new fab, then reinstall. no extra costs there, not to mention a paperwork trail that will kill some rain forest

COVID in 2020? Meh. Its not anywhere close to being as bad as influenza. But, it still jacked the stock markets, the economy etc. No fault of the Trumpster! Drink some bleach. Swallow a flashlight. We'll be fine.

COVID in 2021? It's all Biden's fault! Especially the stock market slump.

COVID vaccines? Thank goodness the Trumpster pushed Operation Warp Speed through!
    But, vaccine mandates... NEVAH!!

High gas prices? It's all Biden's fault!!
Gas prices fall (and, still falling)? I don't why Biden's taking any credit for it.

MAGAt reasoning... ever the oxymoron. Brought to you by, and for, morons.

I work for the largest pulp, paper and packaging company in the world. Been doing this 27 years now. Its a direct indicator of how the economy is moving. People not buying then no need for boxes to ship things. I've seen a couple of times we had slow backs but this one seems to be the top and so far there is not end in sight.

papermills are run by ruthless bean counters, they will bleed a plant til theres nothing left for profit. was once working a shut down with a twenty man crew and the news came down that the plant was officially closed, go home. pretty much 90 percent of the workers were away on vacation at the time. wondering if i was to get paid for weeks of work leading up to crunch time was a little unnerving.  huge rats around the place in the yard, bigger rats at corporate

Huh. Seems like they tanked during the second half of the Cheeto glory years, then zoomed up when COVID hit. And, continued to rise after the Trumpster lost. Still not the worst it’s been.

Seems like someone has no idea what they’re talking about. Big surprise.

I'm not talking about the financial side. That can be affected by different things. I'm talking about when a company must cutback due to an economic slowdown. These mills shutdown for extended periods because there is reduced demand. You are not seeing whats happening in real time. I am. I can tell you there is no end to this pattern in the near future.

No, you do it because you and most libs always think they are they smartest in every room they are in. Facts never get in your way. You just presume to know it all. When Amazon and Walmart and every other company doesn't receive and ship as much they don't need boxes. Like I said, its one of the best indicators of how and economy is moving. You fools just can't admit how big of a mess things are in and certainly will not place a speck of blame of your old brain dead president.

You make an excellent point here my man!  Carey's job does sound pretty terrible.  How do you think it compares to the soul crushing job of working in a paper mill for close to thirty years?

This really did use to be a much more friendlier place!
