Pops' return from 3 yrs ago is stuck in IRS purgatory. They denied receiving it (despite sending it in 4 times), sent it back for some ind of clarification, then went back to denying ever receiving it.
Taxes are pretty straightforward. There's a tax code/laws. You file taxes in accordance with them, and you should be good. The folks who are trying shady shite with their taxes are the ones who worry.
