Now dog names are racist...study finds

Yes, our institutes of higher learning are actually putting time and money into the inequality of white dog names vs black dog names and their adoption times. Just when I was getting used to the OK hand sign being racist, the woke blokes throw us another curveball. LOL

Didn’t read it again, did you.  Just reacted to the title the way it was designed.
    Love you bro!

It's not the names that are racist necessarily.  It's how people react to certain names.  The study is simply revealing unconscious bias, which everyone exhibits.  You wouldn't expect it to impact how dogs are adopted, but it does, and that should give people some pause.

Well, thinking people, at least.  Unfortunately they're a minority.

I believe some of these "thinking people" try to find things to get worked up about. Most didn't know the rice and pancake syrup they were using was racist until some thinking person told them it was.

I just hope people at the animal shelters aren't misgendering these poor dogs and giving them a complex. Nothing hurts a cat or dog more than having the wrong pronoun used. HAHAHAHA

Its akin to how some people see a meme, of a Nazi-uniformed Trump caricature, about to push the button to gas a Bernie Snaders caricature, and think its ok. Or, not.

    Lookin' at you @littlerascal56

So WTF does this have to do with Wildman_Wilson’s post?  You just crapped all over it, and owe him an apology.  So rude and self serving on your part.
You are just looking to stir the pot, and vent your anger.  Not a good post to do this on, as you comment made no sense here.

Heh, I had to.  The example given on urbandictionary.com was very amusing. Even though "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" was the most infuriating and worthless piece of trash literature I've read in 62 years.  Gah I hated that stupid book!

When I was in school, you lost a point on tests if you didn't write "QED" at the end of math problems (trigonometry, differential equations, calculus type stuff,  etc.) It's been a sort of zing/burn, when skooling/pwning someone who's being a dumbfuck.

I'll have to check urbandictionary to see what the current usage is :)

Might be worth doing a little research before you start throwing QED out there on a forum….and telling others to “look it up”!  Makes  you look like the “dumba$$” if you don’t know the current usage of it.  Always think before you type and hit “post”.

I’m sure times were much simpler back when you went to school, but things change fast nowadays.  Try to keep up.  A mind is a terrible thing to waste.

This is rich with irony.  Really, any advice from you is, but “always think before you type and hit post” and trying to suggest Caliking is old or older than you, just fantastic stuff there, you really hit it out onto waveland.

The bottle's open, and per usual, you have no farkin' clue what you're going on about.

Senility must be a real b!tch to deal with. But, that would just be an easy crutch. What's it like to be senile, AND a racist drunkard?

Times were not necessarily simpler when I was in school, but I obviously received a far better education than you did. In more ways than one.

Plus, my school(s) had far better material to work with =)

Don't want to jeopardize WAYDRN so I'll say it here, I may/will get hammered for saying it and that's OK...
Speaking of unconscious bias, there are many stories in WAYDRN of how new drivers got off easy with traffic violations, I have to wonder if the outcome would have been the same if....never mind, you get the gist.
