OT - outdoor fans no holes in house

1st I want to thank everyone for the positive comments during my injury. You folks have been awesome. Helped me thru a ruff time..
While in the later phase of can't move and sitting on the patio. I learned the sun sucks more when there is no wind. My Walmart galaxy $29 fan was worthless 10 feet away, yet with broken feet couldn't go move it.
Spent a lot of time starring at how can I add high velocity fans. Keep the noise low. Became a cfm expert on google.
Anyway thought up and welded some brackets to bolt to the awning, with help from my mechanic. Powder coated. Then used single stud tv mounts to add flexibility. Came out decent for 6000+ cfm each.
Not sure on the look when the awning is closed but man beats the heat. Drew up a plan. Tvs on a roller cart. Adding misting water rings. Clears the speakers and voice activated. By the way Walmart galaxy oscillator fan for $29 is 250 cfm on level 3 high.
Any thoughts or input.

Nice innovation there! I hope it was not you on the ladder to mount the brackets.

That’s pretty slick. You could probably sell those brackets.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX.

@jdMyers , I would add, @ some point you may want to look @ high pressure misting rings/pumpset up , they operate @ 1000 PSI and do not get you wet like a traditional misting ring operating @ house water pressure...just food for thought

I used some cheap TV mounts to attach some 38 lb speakers to my walls. Anyway, clever idea!

No sir. The left one. Stood on steps. Neighbor helped with others. I'm not taking any unnecessary risks.dbCooper said:Nice innovation there! I hope it was not you on the ladder to mount the brackets.

I was hoping someone had the information. My buddy was laughing me. First you want to blow their wigs off then you want to wet their clothes.lkapigian said:@jdMyers , I would add, @ some point you may want to look @ high pressure misting rings/pumpset up , they operate @ 1000 PSI and do not get you wet like a traditional misting ring operating @ house water pressure...just food for thought

well atleast the ladder is held by the rolling table......
fukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it -
It did for me too, but now that I have some experience on it and know the latch mechanism can't unlatch with a load, I don't sweat it. It's so light and easy to move around, it's great for that type of application.alaskanassasin said:I am a ladder guy but those things terrify me @nolaegghead
