Front page coverage of Saturday's Eggfest. Thats my brother sitting on the cooler Mrs.C standing next to him and myself looking at the minimax temperature. Thought I'd share the article. Egg on

Love your local coverage! I recall years gone by that was not unusual clear across the US. And I myself was featured a few times...and you know what? That kind of grass roots publicity and word of mouth is what put BGE on the map! Now that the founder Ed Fisher sold out then unless some REALLY BIG dealer or ACE Hardware has a sweetheart connection with some local newspaper forget THIS kind of free publicity.

Nice article! One nitpick - that reporter didn't properly peruse the Lowes website as they list many Weber gas grills >$2K. Quite a bit more than her " ...about $600-$1200...".“Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.” ― Philip K. Diçk

Speaking on glasses, I’m not sure I would have recognized you, @masterc, with those trademark eyes covered up by your sunglasses. Probably for the best. You wouldn’t have wanted to scare away the tasters.Looks like you had good fun.

Silly me, I saw your original thread and was thinking "how has there been an EggFest in New Haven (CT) for so long that I didn't know about?"MMBGE / Large BGE / XL BGE (Craigslist Find) / SF30x80 cabinet trailer - "Ol' Mortimer" / Outdoor kitchen in progress.
