Rolling smoke on the stick burner as the pre-trim 24.9 lb SRF black
won't fit anywhere close on my LBGE. Trimmed out at 18.8 lbs.
No target finish time but will use the Texas crutch since feeding sticks every 20-30 minutes gets old. Will definitely post a $$ shot however this turns out.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -

Just added a 6lbs pork butt and a whole chicken. This is my fav combo.

@JohnInCarolina - I wish I had heard that line from SWMBO recently.
I would never buy one that big but my sister (who hasn't sent me anything in 5 plus years dropped this on me in November). She knew of my SRF brisket buys and at the time 20+ lbs was all they had in stock. So rather than wait, here it is.

12 hrs from start to finish including the rest. It turned out fantastic, very very juicy.
* I started slicing before taking a finish picture hence the 1st cut in the first picture. -

Survived the protracted run with a bit more than two hour FTC:
outta the stick burner with great bark:
Then the hosed $$ shot-but given 80+% is on a distribution run to the local firehouse, wayward children and neighbors let 'em complain!
Sliced on the flat-point seam. Point to the left flat to the right. I assure you it tasted better than I captured in the pic.
Stay healthy and safe out there-
Pop a brisket cook into your rotation, that way a year from now you will be cruisn' .Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -
