Saw this ad and wondered if they even bothered to check acronym meanings?

Who the hell names their son hunter, especially if they can't even find things ... like laptops, book royalties, self respect, or when they do find things, they're in his dead brothers wife's pants.

Probably the same sort of people who would name their baby "Stump".  ;)

They found me abandoned in the woods ... gnawing on a Stump. The name seemed appropriate at the time, I guess. They aren't the sharpest folks but at least they didn't go with splinters or termite.

This is usually were @Lit and @Focker come in and start taking uncalled for personal jabs.  You know, the ones they think are funny and every other person on the planet is like, "What the **** is wrong with you!?"
Never understood making fun of people’s cancer. You have to be garbage human being to find that remotely funny.

“Owning the libs” by making fun of cancer survivors is a flex I did not expect from any human anywhere…much less 2 of them in one thread on a bbq forum. I did not think my expectations of humans could fall much lower but here we are. Well done guys. Well done.

Yes, back up on page 1...

OK...besides the ingredients of olive oil, cinnamon oil, clove oil, copal, frankincense and myrrh it contains beeswax and camauba wax. The product is called ALFIE SHINE...a " resin enriched 100% natural hard wax polish" made in England for both wood and metal hand tools which is applied sparingly by "rubbing" hence a "rub"! B

LOL.  ALF was one of my favorite shows! I've often wondered how it would have been viewed and received nowadays, much less many of my other favorites before and after. No matter how old this makes me sound I still think kinder, funny shows were better than many of today's line up.

I'd originally typed "Alfie meme generator" into teh googlez, and got a bunch of random cats and dogs named "Alfie"; "Alf" got me what I wanted (I couldn't remember how it was spelled).
And, just so you don't feel old, I've never seen "Alf"; I quit watching TV when Carol Burnett went off the air.   :)

I'll never forget the first time I showed my oldest daughter one of the very first episodes of Gilligan's Island. It was black and white. She was maybe 12. She laughed something right the hell out of her nose. It was a really deep guffaw belly laugh. I'll never forget it. That was an awesome show. Was a Ginger, then a Mary Ann, now I'm a Mrs Howell. Looking back, she was the only one that carried her pocketbook anywhere on the island, and I have way too many prescriptions at this point to be hanging with anybody that has no pocketbook.

"I quit watching TV when Carol Burnett went off the air"

When Carol Burnett went off the air, I quit watching my little brother, which was bad because until then he was fine, but after that he started chasing shiny things, like the reflection of his sweaty forehead in his bike mirrors on really hot days, and he'd almost always go right over the front wheels and suck a face full of front tire. It's sad to think that if Carrol Burnett had stayed on the air, my brother wouldn't have that nasty black stripe down his face, or have to bring his bike into the shop so often.

    Hollywood ..  right?
