Like tonight I was looking for something in a deep, seldom and I DO mean seldom used drawer and I found an un-opened brand new CUTCO knife sharpener that had to have come with a CUTCO knife set we bought from a neighbor boy who died at least 33 years ago!

That sharpener is quite similar to the Chef’s Pro model I do use and rely on to keep my Asian angle knifes RAZOR sharp, so once finally found then I plan to use it!

Finding something stashed in a drawer 33 years ago definitely classifies that drawer as seldom used.  Did you find what you were originally looking for?

Nobody liked this but I should have mentioned that this was a plastic toy gerbil and not an actual animal.  I’m not some kind of freak!

Would love to know what that guy actually does for work.  I mean at some point the options have to narrow down to tattoo parlor employee, haunted house actor, or sex worker.

He died in 2018. Was from Montreal; a few hours from me. He did some work as a model, for which they often covered up the tats.

No, I didn't. Actually the sharpener was clear at the back bottom under other "stuff" also classified as seldom seeing the light of day!  :D

Ron,  I asked poppa bout this and he done said that eva since momma grew her gian possim belly, theres sumethin in her drawers that neetha if them had seen in ova ten years. He sure laffed hard at that .. I worry bout poppa .. cuz sumtimes it sownds like he's garglin with otemeal. I told poppa .. If'n my wife went and gotta belly like that, I'd make sure she stood furtha away from the drawers, so theyd open all the way, and she kin see what's inna back of her drawers. He laffed even hardda at that and done tole me hes already seen whats inna back of her drawers, and he's done spent the last ten years trynna forgot it. So I asked him, why dont he juss emptee momma's drawers compleatly, so you can both see what shed got in them drawers. He laffed even hardr at that ... an done tole me that momma only compleatly emptees her drawers when she done needs to mop the floors. He laffed even harder at that, tho I ain't sure why. I told him thare ain't a single drawer in momma's kitchen what is long enough to have a mop handel innit. He laffed agin an done said momma's mop dont need no handel none anyway ...  on accounta it has two legs.

I hope when I grow up my kitchen isn't as confusing as my parents is.

What were you looking for?  I have given this a clearly unreasonable amount of thought, but I want to know what sent you searching.

To answer your first question, yes, I find things all the time I forgot I had.  It makes me excited each time too.  I also cannot find a lot of things I know I have bought and stashed.  That makes me upset each time.

I love it when I buy something that I forgot I had already bought years ago.
