As an empty nester the mini is my workhorse now. My large is mostly for family gatherings. Nice price!

Interesting! Being brand new then what's the rest of the story?

They are being discontinued and this had apparently been in their inventory for over a year ordered for someone who paid a deposit and never picked it up. I just had to pay the difference.

Mini, not mini-max. At least I haven’t heard anything about the Mini-Max getting discontinued.

Your dealer is cancelling the Mini or corporate?

Happy that you scored a new mini.  It’s a great lil’ cooker.

But, can’t figure out if the dealer made a dickk move, or not, by making you pay the difference.

I don't think the dealer made him do it.  It was probably the offer on the table and @Thatgrimguy had the choice to accept or decline.

I just don't think the average person is willing to spend four bills plus on a grill that small. I'm honestly surprised it has lasted as long as it has.

I’m sure the deposit was part of the purchase price so if anyone is getting screwed it’s the guy that paid the deposit?

Exactly. But that’s going to be the store’s issue if the guy ever shows up. I’m just happy I got a mini!

The mini is going away? Is this like the small is going away rumor? I’d take a small and mini over the max any day. And I own all three sizes. Maybe the mini sales are dead. Too bad, its a great egg. I keep a mini in the garage, on my desk at work, and one in the backyard.

TBF the guy who sold me the Mini could be wrong.

I miss my small so much. It was amazing grill. The mini max does not compare and is barely lighter weight.
