I love my XL and have been cooking on it for a few years. Every now and then, I try other cookers.
I got a Primo XL off of Craigslist. It was good, but not a game changer. Sold it after a year.
I bought a KBQ a year ago and have cooked mostly briskets, pork butts,and ribs. I love it! I did ribs yesterday and they were the best I have ever done. It won't ever replace my BGE XL but it is a cooker you may want to consider for a little variety.

I had to look up KBQ, looks cool. You got pics?

There are quite a few KBQ (also known as the dishwasher in these parts) owners on this forum. I'm sure they will be along.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

It's hard to beat a Kamado grill if you're limited to one grill/smoker. It scratches most people's needs for grilling and smoking. You're really limiting yourself with the BGE if you enjoy traditional BBQ. No disrespect to BGE. There's just better options for BBQ.
The KBQ is a great little smoker given it's size and the food it can accommodate. Hard to hate the KBQ if you have the time to feed it sticks. It's fantastic.
I picked up a gravity fed smoker last year and it's becoming my favorite smoker. @lkapigian was absolutely 100% correct when he told me that the gravity fed smoker will become my most used smoker. He wasn't wrong. The simplicity and near identical smoke profile of a stick burner is a game changer.
The best part is your constantly learning something about bbq with the more options you have with certain cooks. These type of smokers also make you appreciate how simple and easy a Big Green Egg really is to use. It makes you appreciate the BGE all over again."The pig is an amazing animal. There's only one. It's the Karubecue C-60.

It’s a great little smoker. I love the combination of stick burner with a temp controller and the ability to control the smoke profile. A lot of thought and engineering went into it."I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike

@WeberWho what gravity fed are you running?

@FrostyEgg
I picked up a Backyard Bombers gravity feed smoker. They were out of Cannon Falls, MN. A tough business to be in given the location and weather. They were bounced around with a couple different owners but unfortunately they didn't last long term.
I couldn't pass it up on the price and the MN connection. Here's a post if interested when I restored it.
