Another cooker...

I love my XL and have been cooking on it for a few years.  Every now and then, I try other cookers.

I got a Primo XL off of Craigslist.  It was good, but not a game changer.  Sold it after a year.

I bought a KBQ a year ago and have cooked mostly briskets, pork butts,and ribs.  I love it!  I did ribs yesterday and they were the best I have ever done.  It won't ever replace my BGE XL but it is a cooker you may want to consider for a little variety.

Northern Colorado Egghead since 2012.

XL BGE and a KBQ.

    There are quite a few KBQ (also known as the dishwasher in these parts) owners on this forum.  I'm sure they will be along.

    There's only one. It's the Karubecue C-60.

    It’s a great little smoker.  I love the combination of stick burner with a temp controller and the ability to control the smoke profile. A lot of thought and engineering went into it.

    @FrostyEgg

    I picked up a Backyard Bombers gravity feed smoker. They were out of Cannon Falls, MN. A tough business to be in given the location and weather. They were bounced around with a couple different owners but unfortunately they didn't last long term.

    I couldn't pass it up on the price and the MN connection. Here's a post if interested when I restored it.

    Very cool! Nice work on the restoration. I'm in MN as well.
