opened outside and hung in a tree for the squirrels, nothing kills the squirrels. my guess is someone put it in a carriage and then placed it on a shelf after deciding 8 bucks a pound is too much, then the new 14 year old stock boy found it and put it back with the bacon days later. but then again, gassing off cured bacon doesnt make sense to me

If it's properly cured it should be fine. Problem with mass-produced bacon is that it isn't always properly cured -- mostly, it's too wet. I've ordered boutique bacon and it ships with no refrigeration.______________________________________________I love lamp..
