You and @caliking making us all look bad
  • @ColbyLang I get that from my buddies too.  Got to step up your game.  We did Valentine’s Day at home last year with another couple because of Covid and liked it so much we did it again this year.  A nice peaceful evening with good friends and food much better than the hassle of a restaurant on the busiest day of the year.

With a 5 and 7 year old, most of our holidays aside from our anniversary are spent at home with close friends. I enjoy cooking and they enjoy eating what I cook. Keeps it simple

Good grief! You threw down, man. I impress myself if I can get the main course down in time. You nailed the whole experience.

We also enjoy celebrating such events at home. Got tired of the overpriced, and overhyped, Mother’s Day/Father’s Day/Valentine’s Day/etc. dining out several years ago. We eat pretty well at home, so don’t miss it much.
