First cook in three weeks...

Morning All:

Last evening was the first time I've used my Eggs in three weeks...I had my right knee replaced on 11/9 so haven't been up to going out to make use of the Eggs...the recovery is coming along nicely & I finally felt comfortable enough to do some cooking...just some simple burgers...

load up the buns with the fixin's & enjoyed some smokey goodness...

Today will be the big test for the new knee as we are doing our Thanksgiving today (son, D-I-L & grandkids went to their in-laws on T-day)...The turkey was in the John Ash brine for 3 days (it spent last night uncovered in the fridge for the skin to dry)...will also have the sage/sausage dressing on one Egg & the corn souffle on the small Egg...pictures later.

Have a GREAT day!

Surface, surface, surface.  Congratulations on the knee replacement and recovery.  Keep on top of the PT regimen.  Great burgers right there.

Welcome back!  Must be nice to be ambulatory again.
