Ordered a couple cans of this at the suggestion of @Tspud1
Have not done my outside grill stuff yet but did my stove front, vent hood and mini fridge.
A little spray on a cotton rag goes a long way. The odor is a little strong, so no issues outside. I wiped as much excess off with a 2nd rag.
Give it a try. Or if you have used it, what are your thoughts.

Thank you,
Darian

Acetone with a little methyl salicylate (minty aspirin related chemical), a common lemon oil, some petroleum distillates (solvent, basically).  Overall, fairly volatile and leaves a little oily residue which helps with streaking. Makes sense.

Does it work on SS sinks as well? And any other metal surfaces or just SS?

Sheila works well. Use in well ventilated area. We use it on exterior surfaces of all of our ovens and proof box to get initial cleaning. Follow up with mineral oil wipe downs

It’s not a product I would consider food safe. I would not want to use it on prep tables or my sink.

This is a polish, right? Not for cleaning SS pans/cookware?

I do wash vegetables in my sink. But it’s a free range world. Do as you like.

More for appliance surfaces. @Tspud1 recommended for his Blackstone covers.

Sheila Shine Stainless Steel Polish is excellent at cleaning stainless steel surfaces and leaving them looking as good as new! Using a unique formula, Sheila Shine creates a fingerprint-proof layer over stainless steel. This layer not only protects the aluminum from fingerprints, but it also protects the aluminum from everyday wear. This can include things such as spills, rusting, etc.

The do make a Low Voc version that is NSF Certified.

So if something got onto your vegetables, when you washed them in the sink, it would occur while you were washing your vegetables? And the fix would be to, wash your vegetables?

Seems to me that if the vegetables had something on them that you didn’t want on them, whether they arrived that way, or picked it up from your sink, they would no longer have that on them, if you washed them

I’m sure it makes sense to you

but here’s what really confuses me.

Let’s imagine you have successfully washed off whatever salmonellabotulistic deadly stuff you imagine is on that tomato.

Isn’t that substance now also in your sink?

why doesn’t it affect the *next* tomato? Well. Because you are washing the tomato. Right?

if you aren’t worried about that, it’s not logical to worry about whatever *else* is in your sink.

    Food safe or not.

BECAUSE YOU WASH THE FOOD THAT’S IN YOUR SINK

Bar keepers friend is basically my favorite around household chemical, oxalic acid, with some mild abrasive like feldspar, and some soapy surfactant.

Have you ever used Zud? At one time you could find it just about anywhere. It doesn’t seem to be as available as it use to be. But it use to be half the price of BKF.
And for anyone wondering, Zud is the exact same thing as BKF. Just a different brand.

The pure stuff takes zero effort to remove copper oxides.  The scrubbing is zero here.  What is left is stuff that needs physical removal.  Some steel wool and you have the same effect as Cameo, Zud, BKF, etc.  Add soap if there is grease.

We use the Sheila on exterior of our stainless restaurant cooking equipment at conventions. It leaves a surface protection. I think Nolaegghead suggestion on Bar Keepers friend would be good for most home stainless, never heard of Zud but may look for some

Nah.  I went commando.  It's not a terribly strong acid but I would recommend wearing all that protective stuff.  Oxalic acid is in spinach.  Don't get it in a cut (ask me how I know).

the oil in ss polish is what makes it shiny, some people like shiny, i like it worn and clean. when they want shiny, make it shine even if it gets dirty quicker
