Check it out. Got my 36” a couple days early and went to town tonight. Seasoned’r up and made grilled chicken pockets. VERY impressed with this thang and VERY glad I bought the big dog.

Hey when you guys are done cooking on these do you clean em up with the metal scraper like tool, crank the heat and re-season em with oil? That’s what I’ve done last few cooks. Not sure if the cranking it back up part is necessary?

Caveat; I do not own a Blackstone. However, I spent a couple of years on a griddle in a pizza & chicken restaurant in high school.
After your cook is done crank the heat dump some water on the griddle and let it start to steam the crusty bits, hit it with your scrapper, then a 3M scratchy pad thing. After it’s clean lightly reseason. -

I've got a smaller blackstone but after I finish cooking on it I scrape the surface clean and then put a light coat of oil on there and spread it around (carefully) with a papertowel and thats it.

Man I can’t believe how hard the BS is on fuel. Got about a week of cooking, maybe 8 sessions on that exchange tank of gas. Makes the Egg seem like a diesel rabbit compared to the BS.
