Maybe I'm just dense; could someone explain this to me?
Fentanyl is being brought into this country for one thing: to make money. Get people hooked on a drug and then sell them as much as possible until something happens. I think that was how it worked.
Now, the dealers are supposedly putting this drug into kids' candy, to get them hooked? And those 8-year-olds will now "seek out" those dealers, to buy more? I'm guessing the dealers can't identify the kiddos when they get the candy, as they're in costume; are they going to hang out near the school grounds and whisper, "Hey, hey kid, do you want some more of this candy that you got on Halloween?", extending his hand?
I'm really missing something here.
EDIT: I have to admit, the last few seconds of mtg's testimony above I actually agreed with, never thought that would happen.

I believe it is much more about getting press hits for MTG. After all, the media in the multi channel 24/7 news cycle has to fill the air time. Better to be on me than my opponent is a basic tenant. Since it's the Halloween scene it's candy and fentanyl.
November will be some totally dangerous drug and hooked up with the Thanksgiving menu-turkey (and tryptophan), potatoes, veggies, pumpkin and apple pie and even vanilla ice cream.
December and the axle wrapped holidays are the top feeding grounds of the year. Fasten your seat belt!Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -

I think the guy that threatened Kavanaugh and the people that protested outside Barrett’s home bought into that whole conspiracy theory that angry white men wanted to eliminate their reproductive rights.
