I will offer that the voting machines are less likely to be wrong than the supporters of "The Big Lie." If the big lie was so big how come so many down-ballot R's did so well? I have never seen a good answer to that question.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

It's rare that I learn of encouraging news, from both political parties, in one day; today that happened here in utard. Both parties held their primaries today (conventions, not elections).
On the republican side, traitor mike lee was roundly nominated by the convention delegates. Two other republican candidates gathered enough signatures to challenge lee, per the existing rules the convention can't exclude them, so there will be a 3-way election runoff in June. A person has to be a registered republican to vote in the R-primary, which is the only reason I haven't yet changed to Independent (I can vote for whomever in the GE). This is very good news to me, although I know lee will probably get the R-nod in June (at least I can register my opposition).
On the democrat side, there were two candidates, plus a popular independent candidate, Evan McMullen, who was leading trump in utard 2 weeks before the last presidential election, far higher than Clinton. I was disappointed that he chose to run as an Independent again, splitting any anti-trump vote here in the state, but to my extreme surprise today, the democrats elected him their candidate, unifying the vote! At this time, even with all the blue, independent, and aware red vote, he may still not beat mike lee, but as allegations and indictments continue to rise against the trumplican cult, there is hope. What kind of message would that send out, to the nation this year, if a sitting senator in one of the reddest states is thrown out, prior to '24??
