Am currently toying between a high end restaurant delivery, or home prepped surf and turf.
What are you planning?

Good question. I'm not sure if we will be able to dine in at White Castle this year. It might have to be a candlelit drive through order this year."The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Let's see Michael Phelps do that" - Jim Gaffigan

Apparently it's drive up reservations this year.

Not sure at this point. I do know it will be whatever the wife wants since she has been in COVID isolation for the past two weeks. Making it through that crap she deserves whatever she wants.

I have an assortment of charcuterie waiting. My ribeye roast has dry aged for 45 days so we’ll have steak. We’ll crack open a decent bottle of wine. Probably salad from the garden. I’m thinking some glazed carrots from the garden. Whatever kind of starch my wife asks for - she’s a potato gal so I’m guessing a potato gratin of some sort.Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

@johnmitchell Talked to Henrik the other day. He's looking at buying a house right next to Warren. Guy who owned it was a house builder so he expects it will have plenty of attention to detail/quality. 275k for a 4 bedroom, seems like money goes a bit farther there. If he buys this place he'll have a house here, in Denmark and South Africa. Which means I have free places to stay!

I note that a few restaurants have already released their drink and dinner menus in advance of Valentine’s Day.
