The above is reason enough for all this talent to be stand-alone advertised. I know it requires a bit more work and perhaps a thought for the title hook but that's how this place moves off life support. Look at some of the newer posters and the value they bring to this place. I'm sure there are many more out there.GrateEggspectations said:Great variety of cooks happening here. Hats off to the chefs.
I don't have the creative talents of most here but will post a juiced up standalone thread to help with engagement. Just looking to build the interaction from our members.
Off soap-box and no affiliation.

Back in the saddle with 2lbs of lamb shoulder.
Gentle marinade for two hours pre-cook; anchovy paste, garlic infused olive oil, ground black pepper and honey.
Just short of 2 hours, including rest. Around 160C (320F) indirect, Meater chimed at 92C (195F) internal temp.

@CPFC1905. That looks fantastic. We have a recipe out of the Nosh Brothers cookbook which also includes anchovies, garlic and rosemary infused butter smeared over the lamb and make slits in the lamb and stuff anchovies and rosemary in the slits.Greensboro North Carolina

Tried similar in the past. I am a big fan of anchovies in pasta, salad & pizza - no need for salt to season.johnmitchell said:@CPFC1905. That looks fantastic. The honey in this marinade offers a viscosity to hold the flavours in place and generates a bit of a crust. Win win. I use the clear, liquid honey - but may be solid would work like butter?

Loving it, @Dyal_SC.

Killing it. Time to surface these banquets in stand-alone style.
You all have too much talent to keep it buried here.

Pork ribs for Labor Day and pulled beef rib nachos tonight for leftovers

Hard to decide if I want beef or pork, those are sexy ribs!canuckland -
We made a modified Ruth Chris salad - minus the bacon. Salad was extremely good, but dayum there was a lot of prep for a simple salad.
Three kinds of greens, fried oyster mushrooms, fried shallots, riddichio, boiled eggs, hearts of palm, artichoke hearts, plus a homemade dressing that we used some leftover Roquefort/goat milk yogurt/lemon base (from a Zucchini “Baba Ghanoush” made earlier) combined with some garlic, chopped basil, and champagne vinegar. Topped with sliced cherry tomatoes and homemade gluten free croutons.
This will definitely be made again, but green ratio needs to be adjusted.
Partner also made Roasted Moong Dal with Turnip Greens that was excellent! She is expanding my palette and showing me you don’t need meat for a meal 😎

Was gonna egg these packets but wow it is hot outside today. Thin sliced onions and tiny potatoes with olive oil, SnP, and fresh chopped parsley… and topped with cod, black olives, fresh thyme, and a dash of Old Bay. Just wrapped them up and popped them in the oven at 350°F for 30min.
-
Not disappointed!
-
@BeanHead whoa! That looks amazing!

Easy and tasty @Ozzie_Isaac ! Usually throw packets like this on the MM but I was just done with being outside.

@GrateEggspectations “topped with cod” is as unusual as labor spelled as labour.
