The motor is a '70 date coded 440, .030" over, Six Pack internals, Promaxx aluminum heads and roller rockers. Roughly 10.5:1 compression. Will get finished off with Holly fuel injection and Vintage Air Conditioning. It's been sitting for some time in this same state.Sadly it will continue to sit for a while because I tore my Challenger apart for upgrades and haven't gotten it buttoned up yet. :(

Damn fast Challenger that I sold for $1500 when I got married in ‘78. -
Just pulled the trigger on a Lone Star Grillz Santa Maria 48" grill with various options including an argentine style grate and drip pan. Was gonna do it in Spring 2020 then covid hit. Around 16 week lead-time. Price did not go up as much as I thought it might in the interim.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! I honestly thought I was finished with new toys after the Lang 36 stick burner almost six years ago. Then I was intrigued by the live fire episodes when my oldest (of 2) sons gifted me NetFlix a few years ago and suggested the great BBQ series and the live fire cooking shows. Francis Mallman for the win!
Thus I said "this is the last toy in the arsenal." And so it progresses.
I am a complete neophyte with cooking over live fire as my Boy Scout days are many decades in the rear-view mirror and that skill-set is best relegated to forgotten.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Amazing, @lousubcap. I anticipate an epic thread in our futures. Please do give us a thorough review once you’ve had the opportunity to consummate the union with your Maria!

I got rid of all my pizza cutting wheels a couple of years ago and replaced them with a pair of pizza scissors, best pizza cutting move ever!
Because your hand/pressure is above the wheel, it crushes the pizza crust as much as slicing it, but I'll bet it could slice up a pizza in 1/3rd the time it could be done with scissors (I've tried them).
The over-the-blade housing design also sold me. Back in college my roommate and I ate a lot of $0.99 Totino's frozen pizzas, which we sliced with a cheep, "Ecko" pizza slicer with a handle:
One night when I was in charge of supper I was cutting the pizza and the rivet that held the blade sheared off, and the blade (which was a bit sharper than the Zyliss) sliced into the web between my thumb and forefinger; not a deep cut but it took forever to heal (how many times a day do you flex/use your dominant hand??) That was a miserable few months; I'll use a plastic knife to cut pizza before I ever touch one of those things again.___________"When small men begin to cast big shadows, it means that the sun is about to set."

Why do you like the scissors? I know it's a thing, but is just seems like such a poor choice for cutting pizza vs a traditional pizza cutter. It looks so awkward and slow from the videos I've seen of them being used.South of Nashville - BGE XL - Alfresco 42" ALXE - Alfresco Versa Burner - Sunbeam Microwave -
