big fan of PPF here, i've had 3 cars done. all front facing surfaces (including rear doors on one car that flares out). Someone I am married to (no names) kissed the side of the garage door frame with the front right quarter panel. looked like hell, but it was all PPF. my guy peeled off the old, put on the new and it was perfect.

The car we are about to get will be done all over with a special PPF in British Racing Green.

  • Some great captures above. With our climate, nearly all of the exotics are surely hibernating, and I am thus deprived. Nice to be able to live vicariously.

Good on the owner to explain what kind of car it is, for those who can’t read Lamborghini.

    Always enjoy the exotic sightings.
Around here duallys are the exotics. And their cargo can be quite expensive thoroughbred ponies.
Never grabbed a pic although know a driver for an esteemed trainer (not without controversy).

Only in Monaco: A fearless billionaire took his $142 million Mercedes, the world’s most expensive car, for a casual drive.

I was just tailgated and flipped off in the slow lane doing the speed limit by a Karen in an outback with all the stickers. The only thing I can think of is she didn’t like the make of my car.

Yo! I think I am going with… Out of state tags, BMW, and generally in her way.  We all hit the red light in town together at the same time, and it would have been easy to confront her because I genuinely didn’t deserve the finger but wtf ever. She is obviously already miserable I don’t need to point it out for her.

While we are on the topic of NC/Ohio.  When I lived in NC there were “drivers license check” at all hours, randomly in every county I drove in at any hour.  In Ohio it is public record and has to be announced prior to the road block. On one hand wtf? On the other what’s the point?

I read a novel written by an Aussie and set in London. In the novel they said BMW stands for Bloody Minded Wanker. Don’t know if it actually is a common saying in London or not.

That’s an old Robin Williams joke.  Nobody thought he was funny either.

To make sure we are all on the same page, a Beamer is the term for their motorcycle, a Bimmer is the BMW car.  Happy Friday!

DWI roadblocks were set up, unannounced, around more rural bars when I was playing in clubs south of Dayton, 1983~87.  I hated those nights, someone would always U-turn before the roadblock and warn everyone at the club (this was before cellphones) and so everyone would just sit tight, although of course fights (and gunshots, twice in my experience) would start.  Once I had my gear loaded up I would leave (I had a couple beers while playing but was never intoxicated, and drove thru the roadblocks).
Guess I was braver/more stupid in my younger days.

I should mention that I’ve never actually owned a BMW, much less driven one through Ohio.  That was just a joke by Robin Williams.  My apologies for offending any of our FIFO members, it was not my intent.

We came close to the i4 edrive this summer as we car shopped, but after a poor bad experience at 3 different dealers (well 2 bad and 1 meh, so on average poor) we decided that we just were not BMW people in their eyes and took the hint.

Trying to pick up the new electric Volvo today, but there is a config issue. I hate computers.

I hear you on dealerships, I had that same experience with our local hickstown Ford dealer,  I still don’t know what their problem was, it was like my first day in prison and the inmates were sizing me up, very strange.  I was really into the I4 M50 but after careful consideration I thought it best to enjoy ICE while they are still around.

They already took the manual transmission away, I would enjoy our car 10 fold if it had a manual.

A few car enthusiasts I know have opted to buy the manuals while they still can - in some cases, the last production year. Seems like a good move investment-wise.

Pretty much anything late model Lamborghini in manual is double, triple what their automatic version of it is worth.

A manual Lamborghini LP640 nowadays are million dollar cars.
