Feeding birds or bird photography?
-
Awesome. Great pics! We used to have tufted titmouse at our feeder all the time when living in Wisconsin for a few years, but haven't seen one since moving an hour away to Minnesota.Stillwater, MN

That's a great question. The answer is Yes - Both. Since March Work has been very slow so I started feeding the bird and using my prof gear to take photos . Keeps me polished for when the work starts again.GregW said:Feeding birds or bird photography?Northern New Jersey

Nice setup. I haven't made the jump to full frame. I'm still shooting a Nikon D500. I have an old 18-200 that I bought with my old D200 many years ago. I also have a 50 mm 1.4JMCXL said:

I also use a D-500 for birds/critters, have a Df for macro/scenics. I have too much money in the F-mount lenses, and probably won't be jumping to those wonderful Z's.GregW said:

The nicest lens I ever owned and regret selling was a 105 mm F2.8 Micro Nikkor. I really enjoyed that lens coupled with a ring light on my first camera, a Nikon 8008.Botch said:I also use a D-500 for birds/critters, have a Df for macro/scenics. I bought the D500 to take soccer photos of my sons senior high school season. Corona ended the season two games in. -

The 105 was my most-used lens too, from my 6006 up to my Df; since buying my 200 mm Micro-Nikkor 3 years ago, I haven't touched the 105 (will never sell it though, incredible lens).GregW said:
